Open workshop
Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm, anyone can come and explore their creativity. In our spacious and well-equipped studio, participants can experiment with painting, sculpting, paper mache, sewing, and more. Our skilled facilitators will be on hand to provide guidance and support, and attendees will have the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just starting out, you are welcome to join us in this fun and inspiring environment. Laboratory News & schedule
With our new space comes new opportunities for Blue Bear Puppet Lab. For the last 10 years we have had seasonal activities with programs and workshops from June until the end of October. We are expanding our programs to encompass the entire year. We have an exciting line up of workshops, activities and events for 2023. Most of our programs are funded by grants and generous donations. To support our new line up we are moving to a fee based instruction for our regular classes. While our talented artists volunteer much of their time and efforts to sustain our mission of enhancing our community and community events, a portion of the class fee goes to the teaching artist. If you would like to offer a class through Blue Bear, please contact us with your proposal.
Seasonal workshops
Every August and September the artists at Blue Bear Puppet Lab invite the public to create, play, explore, collaborate or just lend a moment of your time. These months of work are targeted in getting ready for Busker's in the Burg and our yearly puppet parade.
